Last updated: July 2026
This privacy policy covers our website mediaconsent.io(the "Website"), where we present our product. It's separate from the privacy policy of the mediaConsent product itself, which covers your guests and event attendees and lives in the app under/legal/datenschutz.

2. General information on data processing
We only process personal data of our website visitors to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website along with our content and services. Personal data is processed either based on your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR) or where necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
3. Hosting and server log files
This website runs on servers located in Germany. Every time you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files that your browser transmits, such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, browser type and version, and the operating system used. This data can't be attributed to a specific person and is only evaluated to ensure trouble-free operation and to improve our offering (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
4. Cookies
We use technically necessary cookies on this website, as well as, with your consent, cookies for analytics and chat functionality. You'll find details on individual cookies, their purpose, and retention period in our Cookie Policy. You can withdraw or adjust your consent there, or via the cookie banner, at any time with effect for the future.
5. Google Analytics
If you give your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies that allow an analysis of how you use our website. The information generated is typically transmitted to and processed on a Google server, and a transfer to servers in the US cannot be ruled out. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is intended to ensure an adequate level of data protection for processing in the US.
This processing happens exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). Google Analytics is not loaded without your approval in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings in the footer.
6. Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console, a free webmaster tool provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), to monitor our website's visibility in Google Search (e.g. search queries, click counts, indexing status). Google Search Console doesn't load any additional code in your browser and doesn't set any cookies on our website — data collection happens entirely server-side within Google Search itself. We only receive aggregated statistics that can't be attributed to any individual website visitor.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in optimizing our discoverability in search engines (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
7. Chatwoot chat widget
If you give your consent, we embed the Chatwoot chat widget, which lets you ask us questions directly. This processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, along with anything you type into the chat, so we can respond to you. This processing also happens exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR) and only while you're actively using the chat window.
8. Your rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Right to withdraw consent already given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
An informal email to hello@levisteria.com is enough to exercise any of these rights.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of personal data. The authority responsible for us is:
Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany

10. Changes to this privacy policy
We'll update this privacy policy whenever changes to our data processing make it necessary. The version published on this page at the time of your visit always applies.
