Is mediaConsent really GDPR-compliant?
Yes. All personal data is AES-256 encrypted on servers based in Germany, expired consents get anonymized automatically, and guests can revoke their own consent anytime via a link, no login required.
Where is my data hosted?
On servers in Germany, within the EU. There's no data transfer to countries outside the EU, and at rest, everything is encrypted with AES-256, the same standard banks use for sensitive data.
Do I need a credit card for the Free plan?
No. The Free plan is free to use permanently, for up to 3 active events at once, no credit card and no automatic conversion into a paid plan.
What happens after the 7-day trial?
After the trial you choose between Free and Pro. Without payment details nothing continues automatically, so there are no surprise charges.
Can guests take part without their own account?
Yes. Guests open the portal via QR code or tablet link, sign digitally, and automatically receive a PDF copy by email, no registration needed.
Can I use my own branding?
Yes, logo and colors are already included in the Free plan. With Pro you can also customize font, copy, and the PDF layout, globally or per event.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Anytime, directly in Settings under "Plan". Monthly plans run until the end of the billing period, then you switch back to Free automatically.
